People are either born lucky or unlucky
People are born with bad luck or good luck. Everyone says that I'm a lucky girl. It is indeed true. But sometimes I can also have all sorts of trouble. But I'm trying to win all of them and go forward. In chinese fengshui, your date of birth, and time signifies what fortune  kind of life awaits you. Don't you notice that sometimes there is person who is very hardworking, he is industrious but no matter how he tries or strive, luck seems to never have come his way? But then we also see someone who have worked as well but not as hard as the first example but success already was with him/her! Yes, I believe in luck and I also believe in fate. It is hard to explain, but I believe in luck. To me everything happens for a reason and sometimes we are powerless to prevent or change it. To lose a Job,Girl/-Boyfriend or to fail to pass an exam are of cause unhappy things,but there is always a reason for. If all these things are happened at the same time,then you have to think about what's wrong with you and do it better. We have to create the situations that will allow the opportunity for real luck to occur.

The film that left a deep and lasting impression on me is a great work of James Cameron direction – “Titanic”. This is feature colored film of more than 3 hours long. This film was released by Columbia Pictures associated with 20th Century Fox.  For Russian audience it was doubled by several TV companies and channels.
The director of “Titanic” is well-known Canadian James Cameron. “Titanic” deals with a tremendous disaster which happened on April, 14 1912 in the Atlantic Ocean when more than 15 hundred people died in freezing water after the enormously huge and luxurious passenger liner “Titanic” had sunk.
On this background the love of two young people strongly separated by position they took in society was growing 
The climax of the story is simultaneously the moment when Rose (American aristocrat betrothed to a rich and hopeful suitor) and Jack (free-spirited poor artist who won his 3rd class passage in a card game) despite of great difference between them understood that their love was true and the only thing really worth living.  In the same time the liner collided with an iceberg and began to sink.

Edgar Poe's work "Murders in the Rue Morgue" narrates about the event which has occurred in Paris one night. The main hero of work – August Dupin. The narration is led on behalf of the young man familiar with Dupin.
The story-teller, during the stay in Paris, meets the detective August Dupin.  They quickly become friends and lodge together. 
Once, they, reading the newspaper, see the message on a cruel crime.  In article it is said that at night on Morg Street awful murder is committed.  Madam L' by Espane and her daughter Camilla was killed.  All furniture in the apartment is broken, and in a flue Camilla's spoiled corpse is found.  Body of mother found in the yard, her head was cut off.  Witnesses said that heard voices of criminals.  The first, according to their indications, was the Frenchman, and on - an occasion of the second opinion dispersed.  Adolf Lebon who brought them on the eve of murder from bank 4 thousand francs from the account madam L' Espane was during the investigation arrested. 
Having studied all this history, Dupin gets permission to examine a place of murder and everything there carefully surveys. On these facts Dupin draws a conclusion that the crime was committed by a huge monkey. It advertises in that capture, promising to return it to the owner. In very fast time for the announcement one seaman responds. When he understands that the detective guesses everything, starts telling as everything occurred actually. It caught an orangutan on purpose favourably to sell in Paris. But that ran away. Dupin reports about it to the prefect, and in a false manner accused Lebon let out.

I think almost everyone in the world admires someone. It is especially true for young people. Most of them have icons. They try to look and act like them. It is useful when a person looks up to someone with positive qualities or to someone who has done lots of good and worthy things. Idols are mostly found in such spheres like music or cinema. My idol is Michael Jackson. I like all his songs and I admire his personality. I think that he was a multi-talented person. He managed to stage fantastic and spectacular shows. He was a great singer and dancer. Besides, he did a lot for poor and disabled children of Africa. I’ve read at a magazine that Michael Jackson was born in a rather poor family. There were nine children and they all lived in a four-room house. Later, when Michael Jackson became really rich and popular, he purchased a huge house with lots of rooms upstairs and downstairs. Many critics said his behavior was eccentric. He never gave interviews, he was rarely seen in public, he often wore a face mask to protect himself from germs, and he slept in an oxygen capsule, which he believed would help him to live longer. However, his manager says that he was simply very shy. He started singing in public when he was only five years old. Since then he had been working like a grown-up. He had never had free time to play with other children and he led a very stressful life. He felt safe with animals and children and he feared crowds. He was a bit childish too. He loved kids’ stories and his favourite hero was Peter Pan. No matter how eccentric or childish he was, I think he was a clever man, who managed to create a successfully brilliant image.

My Hobby

 

There are many differnt kinds of hobbies. Every person has their ones. Some people draw and dance, others play volleyball, football, chess, some people do crafts.

All these occupations are for our enjoyment.

As for me, I like to listen to music, to play computer games and to play chess. Chess is a very interesting game. It makes you think and train your brains. Music allows to have a rest and to relax.

Besides, I like some dynamic games. I like to play football most of all. But I enjoy not only playing football, but watching it as well.

My Kazakhstan

 

I want to tell you about my homeland. My homeland is Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is an independent Republic. It is situated in the Central Asia. Its population, is 16 million. All people of Kazakhstan have equal rights and duties. Astana is the capital of Kazakhstan. The territory of Kazakhstan is huge. It borders on China in the East and the Caspian Sea in the West, Russian in the North and the states of Asia in the South. The republic occupies the territory of more than 2 million square kilometers. . Kazakhstan has 14 regions, 84 cities.

The earth of Kazakhstan is full of iron and gold, coal, nickel and raw materials. Also Kazakhstan is rich in mineral resources. These reserves formed a solid base for the development of heavy industry. The leading branch of agriculture is the production of wheat, sheep rising, and horse breeding. Kazakh-is the official language of the country, but Russian and other languages are spoken here too. Kazakhstan has hundreds of nationalities that’s why all people speak their native language.

My Friend

 

I have a very good friend. His (her) name is ... Friends are very important in our life. I think one cannot live without friends. The most important thing for being good friends, to my mind, is to be ready to help one another in any situation, nevertheless how difficult it is, to support one another and to solve all the problems together. And never mind, that the friends may have different interests and hobbies, different likes and dislikes. They say that the friend in need is a friend indeed. I think it is really so.

My friend and I always do our best to help one another. We discuss all our troubles and try to find the best decision in any situation. My friend is a very good, kind and clever boy (girl). We often spend our free time together. It is not very easy now, because both of us are very busy — we are going to enter institutes and have a lot of work to do.
My friend is going to become a doctor (a teacher, an engineer, a lawyer). Our future professions are different (the same) and the subjects we have to study are different (the same) too, but (and) we like to work together and to help one another in our study.

My Family

 

I am Zhilin Andrey. Andrey is my name and Zhilin is my surname. I am seventeen years old. I want to tell you a few words about my family. My family is not large. I have got mother, father and grandmother. There are four of us in the family.

 
First of all some words about my parents. My mother is a teacher of biology. She works in a school. She likes her profession. She is a good-looking woman with brown hair. She is 44 but she looks much younger.
My father is programmer. He is forty-six. My father often sings and when we are at home and have some free time I play guitar and we sing together. He is also handy with many things. When he was small he liked to take everything to pieces. My grandmother told me a story that once my father tried to repair their kitchen clock but without success. They had to give it to a repairman. But it happened a long time ago. Now he can fix almost everything.

Mahlzeiten

3)      Zum Frühstück  trink ich Kaffee oder Tee.

4)      Ich esse Mittag zu Hause,

5)      Das Mittagessen besteht aus einer Suppe oder Brühe,dem Hauptgericht : Fleisch oder Fisch mit Gemuse Nachtisch esse ich nicht ; einen Salat.

6)      Nachmittags trinke ich Kaffee oder Tee mit kuchen.

7)      Zu Abend esse ich zu Hause. Ich esse warmes Gericht.
